Job Overview
Perform and document scientific experiments in the laboratory for drug substances (DS) and drug products (DP) in collaboration with multifunctional project teams. Contribute to maintenance of lab instruments/day-to-day operations. Timely execution of project related activities to support TRD-NCE strategies and goals.
Life Science Job at Novartis – Key Responsibilities:

Execute and document scientific experiments, including:

Analytical method development, validation, transfer

Release testing, stability testing, formulation analytics

Maintain lab operations: manage reagents, columns, samples, equipment, and consumables.

Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
-
Support deviation management, investigations, and change control processes.
-
Communicate key issues proactively to managers and project team members.
-
Contribute to lean, sustainable lab operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Participate in audits and ensure zero critical findings within your scope.

Stay compliant with SOPs, GMP, HSE, ISRM, and Novartis Guidelines.

Complete Up4Growth business training and maintain transcript of learning.
Life Science Job at Novartis – Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Analytical/Organic Chemistry, or equivalent.

Experience in:

Analytical lab techniques and quality systems
-
Regulatory environments and drug development lifecycle
-

Strong communication, technical writing, and collaboration skills.

Fluent in English (spoken and written); understanding of local language preferred.

Familiarity with laboratory instruments, LIMS systems, and project documentation.
