Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded project at the Department of Biotechnology, IIT Hyderabad. Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is one of the premier institutes of national importance in India, renowned for research and innovation. The Department of Biotechnology at IITH actively engages in interdisciplinary research across bioprocess technology, biomaterials, biopolymers, and food technology. The selected candidate will work under Dr. Althuri Avanthi, a researcher with deep expertise in integrated bioprocess technologies.

- Essential Qualifications: Candidates must have one of the following:

MTech in Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/ Food Technology/ Chemical Sciences/ Material Science and Engineering or any other related area

MSc degree in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Chemistry/ Polymer Science or any other related area and qualified GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), or any other National-level examination conducted by the Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DBT, DST, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc (need not be valid).
