The Director, JIPMER, is inviting applications from eligible applicants for the engagement of an Embryologist on contract basis as per the terms and conditions mentioned on page 3. Eligible applicants may submit their applications as per the instructions mentioned on page 2.
The selection will be made based on a written test and/or personal interview. The date of the interview/written test will be announced later on the JIPMER website.
The last date for receipt of the application is 26.05.2025 by 4:30 PM. The last date (i.e., 26.05.2025) will be considered as the cutoff date for computing the upper age limit and experience. Essential qualification and experience may be relaxed by the competent authority in deserving cases. Experience prior to acquisition of qualification may be counted and considered in deserving cases by the competent authority.

Qualification & Experience
Essential Qualification:
Post-graduate in Clinical Embryology (graduated with full time program with minimum four semesters) from a recognized University with additional three years of human ART laboratory experiences in handling human gametes and embryos;
OR
Ph.D. holder full-time Ph.D. project shall be related to Clinical Embryology or assisted reproductive technology or fertility) from a recognised university with an additional one year of human ART laboratory experience in handling human gametes and embryos;
OR
Medical graduate (MBBS) or Veterinary graduate (BVSc) with a post-graduate degree in Clinical Embryology (full-time program) from a recognized University with additional two years of ART laboratory experience in handling human gametes and embryos;
OR
Post-graduate in life sciences or Biotechnology with a minimum of one year of on-site, full-term clinical embryology certified training in addition to four years experience in handling human gametes and embryos in a registered ART level 2 clinic.
Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on closing date
Period of consultancy: Initially for 11 months, further may be extended as per requirement of the Institute
