The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine (www.instem.res.in), Bangalore is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. To develop strengths in focused areas, research at BRIC-inStem is driven through collaborative interdisciplinary teams, addressing questions that are beyond the scope of a single laboratory.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Biological Sciences / Zoology or equivalent from a recognized university and two years of experience in R&D in a Scientific organization
Experience: Prior experience in mosquito-borne disease research is an advantage. Previous working experience with BSL-2 level organisms is desirable. |
To carry out day-to-day lab research activities in the lab. Self-driven candidates interested in infectious disease research and with experience in parasitology, imaging, Molecular Biology, entomology and mosquito infection research are preferred. |
Tenure: Contractual appointment for 11 Eleven months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.
