Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, invites applications from Indian Nationals to join the following position sanctioned under DBT-funded project.
Project Title: “Novel DNA nanostructures to rewire chemo resistance in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma” funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT)
Project Investigator: Dr. Bineeth Baral
Name of position: Junior Research Fellow
Number of vacancies: One
Emolument: Rs.37,000/- + @18% HRA per month
Eligibility & Selection:
Candidates having M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Biotechnology or allied Life Science subjects with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC) are eligible to apply. Candidates must have qualified national level exam such as NET/GATE/GPAT/BET. Candidates with knowledge in Cancer biology and molecular biology and hands-on experience in cell culture, molecular biology techniques and having experience in handling mice will be preferred.
Age Limit:
The candidate should be below 28 years in age
as on 05.06.2025. An age relaxation of five years in the case of SC/ST/women/PH candidates and three years in the case of OBC candidates will be given (as per Govt. of India rules).How to Apply:

Incomplete applications and applications without the above-mentioned documents will be rejected. The appointment will be for one year or until the end of the project.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
