Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for project position(s) as per the details given below for the consultancy/research project(s) under the Principal Investigator (Name: Prof. Saugata Hazra), Dept./Centre Biosciences and Bioengineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

Title of project: Development and Clinical Validation of an Artificial Intelligence empowered antibiotic susceptibility device towards optimizing antimicrobial therapy regimen in leukemia & bone marrow transplant patients.

Project position(s) and number: Project Assistant (One)

Qualifications: Minimum degree requirement M. Tech or M.Sc. in the branch of sciences and engineering related to computational Biology. Experience in the field of structural bioinformatics, like visualization software, modelling, docking, MD simulation and relevant analysis. Experience in programming knowledge, preferably in Python and R, proficiency in Linux would be necessary, candidate should be comfortable with various techniques and should be included in expertise.

Emoluments:

Duration: The duration of the fellowship will be two years, extendable for two more years or completion of the project, whichever will be earlier, if necessary.

Job description: Conduct molecular modeling, docking studies, and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to investigate biomolecular interactions and to analyze structural data using computational tools. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary research teams to support ongoing projects and publications.

3. Candidate shall bring along with them the original degree(s)/certificate(s) and experience certificate(s) at the time of interview for verification.
4. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
5. Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
   The last date for application to be submitted to the office of the Principal Investigator is 04th June 2025 by 5 PM. (not applicable for walk-in interview)
