Applications are invited to attend the “Interview on virtual mode/Physical Presence Mode” for the following post in a DBT-funded research project at NBPGR, New Delhi. Qualifications
Essential qualification: PhD or equivalent degree in bioinformatics, molecular biology, biotechnology or life sciences.
Desirable Qualification:
i. Experience in analysing high-throughput SNP genotyping, resequencing and transcriptomics data
ii. Publications in high impact journals
Upper Age limit: Upper age limit 40 years. Relaxation in upper age limit to women (5 years), SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years) is applicable as per the government of India/ICAR rules.
Terms and Conditions
- Candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility like age, qualification etc. before appearing for the interview
- Candidates having essential qualification will only be considered for interview.
- No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
- The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, selected candidate has no right to claim for regularization or absorption whatsoever in ICAR/NBPGR
- The decision of Director of the institute will be final and binding in all aspects.
- The Director reserves the right to terminate the contract of job as mentioned above, even before the completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be made.
- Candidates are required to send scanned pdf copy of all the relevant certificates/ mark sheets etc., with an application with full bio-data affixing a passport size photograph on the top. The originals will be verified at the time of joining.
- If any information of the candidate is found to be incorrect or concealing any facts, his/her candidature to the interview/ selection to the post is liable to be cancelled at any stage.
- Emoluments may be paid as per satisfaction of the work by the PI and fund availability by the funding agency.
