Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and curriculum development for UG and PG programs in Biotechnology Engineering.

Guide students in research projects, dissertations, and internships.

Publish research papers in reputed national/international journals and present work at conferences.

Design and implement innovative teaching-learning methodologies for Biotechnology.

Collaborate with departments and industry partners for research and development.

Mentor junior faculty and contribute to academic committees and quality enhancement activities.

Support the department in achieving academic accreditations, rankings, and research grants.
Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
-
Mandatory:
B.Tech and M.Tech (or equivalent) in Biotechnology or allied fields. -
Desirable: Ph.D. (awarded or pursuing) in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Genetic Engineering, Molecular Biology, or similar domains.

Experience:
-
Teaching/research experience as per UGC/AICTE norms.

Candidates with industrial research exposure, patents, or funded projects will be preferred.

Desired Skills & Attributes:

Strong subject knowledge in core and advanced biotechnology areas (genomics, bioinformatics, bioprocess, molecular biology, etc.).

Experience with lab management and experimental protocols.

Ability to engage students through blended learning, outcome-based education (OBE), and modern pedagogical tools.

Strong publication record and research aptitude for Biotechnology.

Excellent communication, mentoring, and teamwork skills.
