Primary Responsibilities for Clinical Abstractor:
- Abstracts patient charts and pulls the information from the chart for submission to the NCQA during the PSV audit
- Synopsize important information from patient records for accuracy
- Review medical records and abstract necessary information to close gaps on quality measures
- Stay updated on guidelines and updates related to the role
- Comply with confidentiality standards and HIPAA privacy regulations
- Perform other tasks and projects as needed by chart operations
Required Qualifications for Clinical Abstractor:
- Graduation from Life Science Background / Medical Allied
- Proficient computer skills
- Proven attention to detail
- Proven good communication skills (both verbal and written)
