Dr. Shashank Patole is a Molecular Microbiologist and a Scientific Writer, currently working as a Senior Executive – Microbiologist at SGS India Pvt Ltd. He has a PhD in Life Sciences from NISER Bhubaneswar, and over a decade of experience in Antimicrobial Resistance, Infectious Diseases, and Molecular Biology. Dr. Patole has worked in both academia and industry, contributing to antibody-based therapeutic projects and advanced microbiological research. With hands-on expertise in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), Molecular Cloning, DNA Sequencing, and advanced Microbiology Techniques, he continues to guide the next generation of life scientists through his active involvement in scientific communication and mentorship. He is a passionate Science Communicator and has authored multiple research articles, book chapters, and served as a reviewer for top-tier journals including Scientific Reports and BMC Microbiology.
