Brief Job Overview This is a non-supervisory position responsible for performing high-impact editorial and production functions for the publication of USP documentary standards.

Responsibilities:

• Edits scientific materials across various USP publications to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Incorporates corrections and effectively communicates with scientific experts to resolve queries.
• Copyedits content meticulously to ensure compliance with USP style guidelines.
• Applies XML tagging accurately to scientific content for effective digital publishing.
• Reviews and updates documentation proactively to ensure consistent alignment with established processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a life science discipline.
• Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience in editing or publishing.
• Strong knowledge of grammar, spelling, and the ability to adhere to in-house style guides.
• Excellent time management and strong technology skills.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrates creativity and flexibility in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and HTML/XML editors.
• Experience working with content management systems and electronic file tracking.
