This is where you save and sustain lives. Baxter is looking for an Associate Microbiologist to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
Responsibilities for Associate Microbiologist Job at Baxter:

To prepare the media, as and when required.

To observe the tubes and plates and to monitor the discarding procedure of the same.

To perform periodic microbiological tests as per the schedule, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

To perform the Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET) for products and bioburden analysis for raw and packing materials as Microbiologist.

To perform bioburden analysis for in-process samples.
-
To perform enumeration tests for biological indicators and bacterial challenge tests.

To coordinate with the technical department for any machine-related abnormality impacting microbiological quality.

To perform sterility testing for finished products and stability samples as per the allocation.

To sign all documents related to microbiological testing.

To analyze water samples for BET, bioburden, and pathogens.

To analyze water system samples post-maintenance as Microbiologist.

To maintain and update stock records for media and reagents used in microbiological analysis.

To submit monthly requirements to the supervisor and update the storeperson on procurement needs.

To qualify media with growth promotion tests and perform gram staining for identification.

To conduct microbiological analysis on stability samples, finished products, raw materials, packaging, and in-process samples per daily work plans.

To perform validation activities as per established protocols and record all testing data as Microbiologist.

To report abnormalities in analysis to the Supervisor or, in their absence, to the Microbiology Head.
