Essential Functions of the Assoc Lab Project Svcs Manager:
Study Setup & Planning
-
Lead protocol and budget review, meetings, and project planning
-
Manage milestones, risks, issues, and actions
-
Coordinate with Study Setup team for database and documentation quality
-
Present protocol materials at Kick-Off and Investigator meetings
-
Support proposals, bid defenses, and customer standard development
Study Monitoring & Closeout
-
Track timelines, deliverables, and project documentation (eTMF)
-
Oversee monitoring, reporting, and study meetings
-
Manage scope changes, budget, and study quality
-
Address service issues and share lessons learned
Customer Communication
-
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
-
Act as primary escalation point for study-level issues
-
Coordinate issue resolution and customer feedback follow-up
-
Conduct regular health checks for customer satisfaction
Meetings, Training & Initiatives
-

Represent the company at internal/external and Investigator meetings
-
Provide training to sites, CRAs, and customers
-
Maintain site communication to manage expectations and resolve issues
-
Contribute to improvement initiatives and mentor junior staff

Qualifications of an Assoc Lab Project Svcs Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2+ years of clinical or research industry experience, including 1 year project management experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer management skills.
- Working knowledge of Project Management processes and clinical research terminology.
