Located at our Arasampalayam Campus in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, the School of Agricultural Sciences is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence and sustainable agricultural development.
We are looking for highly motivated and academically distinguished individuals who are passionate about advancing the science of Genetics and Plant Breeding. The selected candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and driving research that supports national and global efforts toward sustainable crop production and food security.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in areas such as Principles of Genetics, Crop Improvement, Molecular Breeding, and Plant Biotechnology.

Conduct independent and collaborative research aimed at genetic improvement of crops, focusing on yield enhancement, stress tolerance, quality traits, and climate resilience.

Supervise and mentor students in field-based trials and laboratory research, fostering innovation and scientific inquiry.

Develop and manage breeding programs that integrate traditional and modern molecular tools for crop improvement.
Qualifications:

B.Sc. in Agriculture
, and M.Sc. & Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding from a recognized institution.
