Overview: The Application Specialist will play a key role in developing sales of automation products in the region. Reporting to the Application Manager, responsibilities include customer engagement, sales support, technical support, application training, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and industry influencers
- Conduct market research and gather insights specific to Automation and Genomics
Sales Support
- Develop sales tools and provide product training to the sales team
- Participate in pre-sales activities and deliver technical presentations to customers as Application Specialist
Technical Support
- Provide troubleshooting assistance to customers using Automation and Genomics applications
- Analyze technical issues and work with the development team to implement solutions
Application Training
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers on Genomics and Automation applications
- Create training materials and provide ongoing support and guidance as Application Specialist
Minimum Qualifications:
- MSc/MTech in Biological Sciences/Chem Eng/Biotechnology
- 3-5 years of technical/applications experience in Life Sciences or relevant doctoral degree
- Strong knowledge of Automation, Genomics, and Cell Based Assays as Application Specialist
- Excellent problem-solving skills and cultural awareness
- Ability to work independently and travel as needed
