Biotecnika Info Labs Pvt Ltd is a leading Bio-IT Company with a diversified portfolio in Information Technology and Biotechnology. We seek a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Full-Time Bioinformatics Trainer & Researcher. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering bioinformatics training programs while actively engaging in research activities within our dynamic environment.
Name of the Post – Bioinformatics Scientist & Trainer

Expected Time to Join – Immediate
Job Location – Bengaluru
Work Hours – Full Time: 9 Hours per day, Online / Offline
Salary: Rs 3.5 – Rs 7.0 Lakh p.a (negotiable based on Experience, knowledge & performance in the interview)
Basic Qualification & Eligibility – PhD in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology (PhD will be preferred)
Experience Required – 1 to 5 years
Responsibilities:
- Bioinformatics & AI ML Training & Project Work
- Design and conduct bioinformatics training sessions for diverse audiences, including researchers, students, and professionals.
- Develop training materials, resources, and hands-on exercises to enhance participants’ understanding of bioinformatics tools and methodologies.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in bioinformatics and incorporate relevant advancements into training programs.
2. Curriculum Development:
- Collaborate with the curriculum development team to create comprehensive and up-to-date bioinformatics training modules.
- Tailor training content to meet the specific needs of different user groups, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness.
3. Research Activities:
- Conduct independent and collaborative bioinformatics research projects.
- Stay informed about current trends and breakthroughs in bioinformatics research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
4. Mentorship:
- Provide mentorship and guidance to individuals involved in bioinformatics training and research initiatives.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative learning environment for trainees.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in bioinformatics research and a strong publication record.
- Knowledge of Genomics and Genetics
- Data Mining & Data Analysis skills
- Demonstrated expertise in popular bioinformatics tools and software.
- Experience in designing and delivering bioinformatics training programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Skills Required:
Bioinformatics Skills:
- Sequence alignment tools (BLAST, Clustal, MUSCLE)
- Software for next-generation sequencing (NGS), microarray, qPCR, and data analysis
- Tools for handling high-throughput sequencing data (FASTQC, Bowtie, HISAT2, STAR, SPAdes)
Programming & AI/ML Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, R, BioPerl, Biopython, BioJava, and Matlab
- Experience with Computational Drug Discovery (CADD)
- Hands-on expertise in Supervised & Unsupervised Machine Learning for Genomics & Bioinformatics
- Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks & tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Keras
- Knowledge of data mining, feature engineering, and predictive modeling for biological datasets
