Microbiologist – GMP-QC
Position Purpose:
To ensure environmental monitoring, water testing, trends, and documentation as per regulatory guidelines.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
- To maintain Good Laboratory Practice and Good Documentation Practice in the micro lab.
- Perform daily calibration & verification activities in the micro lab & maintain related documents.
- Preparation of media for routine activity & maintain its reconciliation.
- Water sampling & testing as per the procedure & maintaining related documentation.
- Environment monitoring of the micro lab and its reporting.
- To involve & coordinate with validation parties for all qualification and validation activities in the micro lab.
- Performance of all Growth Promotion Tests of newly received media & prepared media lots.
- Procurement, storage & handling of all standard cultures & their purity verification along with related documentation.
Work Relations:
Internal: QA, Quality Control, Engineering Department (Utility), HR, IT, Production, OHC, Safety.
External: External Testing Lab Service Providers and Validation Service Providers
Who You Are:
- M.Sc. in Microbiology
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the microbiology lab of the pharmaceutical industry
