Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Project Title: “Elucidating the role of Cdk-related kinases (Crk7, Crk9, and Crk11) mediating transcript maturation in the asexual developmental stages of Toxoplasma gondii”.
PI: Dr. Abhijit Deshmukh, Scientist-D.
Post Code: Project Associate I (1 Position).
Tenable upto: One year.
Eligibility: Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Microbiology, etc.) from a recognised university or equivalent.
Experience: Candidates with prior experience in molecular parasitology and molecular biology techniques involving gene cloning and protein purification will be preferred.
Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000/- PM + HRA (if applicable) for candidates with NET or GATE qualification or those who have undergone a selection process through national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. Rs. 25,000/- PM + HRA (if
applicable) for others without NET or GATE, as per DST guidelines.Age: 35 years.
