Jubilant Biosys is hiring for Research Associate in Discovery Biology at Bangalore Location.
Qualification: M Sc / M Tech (Biotech / Biochem/ Microbiology)
Experience: 2 to 6 yrs
Roles & Responsibility:
- Cell-based assay development (optimization, validation, and compound screening) under the Group Leader’s guidance.
- Enzyme-based assay development (optimization, validation, and compound screening).
- In-vitro assay development, validation, and optimization of cell-based and enzyme-based assays for various targets in therapeutic areas such as CNS/Metabolic disorders/Autoimmune/Inflammatory diseases/Pain/Oncology in the Drug Discovery field.
- Working extensively in the area of functional cell-based assays, validating the same to determine the activity of new chemical entities (NCEs).
- Responsible for writing protocols, uploading data, maintaining lab notebook records, and writing SOPs.
- Analysis of experimental data using GraphPad PRISM (statistical analysis software) for IC50 and graphs.
- Designing experiments, execution, calculations, data analysis, graphical representations, and reporting results to project teams.
- Following lab guidelines for safety aspects and assisting the lab head in designing new guidelines.
- Adhering to ethical guidelines for assay validation, data analysis, and maintenance.
- Working in a team environment to ensure faster delivery.
- Demonstrating teamwork and a willingness to learn new skills in the respective research area.
