Research Position (PhD Full Time)

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of PhD Full Time in the project entitled “Elucidating the role of Mitochondrial 5’ Nucleotidase (NT5M) in mitochondrial dynamics and tumorigenesis” in the Laboratory of Dr. Jyothi S Prasanna at Manipal Institute of Regenerative Medicine (MIRM), MAHE, Bengaluru Campus.

Essential Qualifications

• Good academic record with at least 70% marks in Master’s Degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognized University.
• A consistent excellent academic track record.
• The candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test CSIR/UGC NET-JRF/DST INSPIRE/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with cloning, buffer preparation, and standard molecular biology techniques.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques, transfection, immunostaining, and image analysis will be preferred.
• Candidate should be hard-working with a strong scientific temperament and good interpersonal skills.
