Interview for Project-JRF position
Title of Project: Studying the mechanism of Rab7-based regulation of Goblet cell function in Ulcerative Colitis.
Duration: Initially for 1 year, may be extended based on annual evaluation (till the duration of the project).
Essential Qualifications:
Post Graduate degree in Basic Science or graduate/Post-graduate degree in professional courses selected through a process described as follows:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.
Desirable Qualifications:
Candidates with an overall good academic background with prior research experience (experimental exposure as a part of research project or dissertation) in the field of gut inflammation (details as below):
i) Experience with handling murine models of colitis, cell culture, and human patient specimen handling.
ii) Experience in inflammation-related assays and gut diseases.
iii) Experience in molecular biology techniques, gene cloning, confocal microscopy, mass spectrometry, etc.

: OneEmoluments: Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA per month.
