Applications are invited for a Project Post-Doctoral Fellow in an Indo-Australian Joint DBT sponsored project in the Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering, IIT Kanpur.

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D in any of the following areas: Structural Biology, Structural Virology, Cryo-EM, X-ray, or Protein Biophysics.

Desirable Work Experience:

• Das lab at IIT Kanpur is looking for a passionate post-doctoral fellow with prior experience in protein expression and purification in mammalian and bacterial systems.
• Hands-on experience in X-ray, Cryo-ET, Cryo-EM imaging, and single particle analysis is desirable.
• The candidate will work on an Indo-Australian joint project focused on understanding the structural basis of viral entry mechanisms at the single molecular level using Cryo-EM, Cryo-ET, and single molecule imaging methodologies.

Salary Range: INR 60,000/- per month

The position is currently for one year, extendable based on performance.
