Position for One Post of Project Assistant
Applications are invited by the undersigned from eligible candidates for ONE post of Project Assistant in the following research project sponsored by the Central Silk Board, Government of India, at this Institute.
Title of the Project: “Development of Bivoltine Hybrids Suitable for Different Regions of India” [Project Code: AIB02019 MI]
- Tenure of the Project: September 2024 to May 2025 or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
- Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Life Sciences with first class (equivalent to 60% marks; 55% for SC/ST candidates).
- Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge in silkworm genetics, molecular biology experiments, data recording, and computer basics.
- Emoluments: Rs. 15,000/- consolidated.

- Upper Age Limit: 28 years as of 31.03.2024 (Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged and Women candidates).

- The position mentioned above is purely temporary, on a contractual basis, and co-terminus with the project. Further claims for any post will not be entertained thereafter.
