About the Role:
As a Quality Product Specialist at the Baramati Plant, you will ensure the highest quality of Ferrero products by inspecting work in process and finished products. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, GMPs, and legal requirements. You will implement quality control procedures, maintain accurate documentation, provide training to staff, and resolve quality-related issues. Additionally, you will participate in audits and promote a culture of continuous improvement on the production floor.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Ensure compliance with Product Quality Specifications and perform periodic military standards.
- Examine and enter quality reports into systems like SAP-QM or Fenice, and request adjustments as needed.
- Issue non-conformance reports, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement
- Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Train personnel liable for product quality checks and conduct cleaning checks.
- Implement and maintain cleaning procedures adapted to production lines.
- Ensure all quality and food safety program requirements/standards are implemented and maintained, including daily HACCP documentation review.
- Participate in raw material and packaging trials, enforce company initiatives, and contribute to Ferrero Operational Excellence (FOX).
Who we are looking for:
Required Skills:
- Quality Management Systems (latest versions of ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000)
- Technical knowledge about chocolate manufacturing
- Schedule IV – FSSAI
- Legal metrology and FSSAI regulations
- SAP Application
Educational Background that we’re looking for:
- Graduate or Post-graduate in Food Science/Food Technology and related fields
- Certification in Fostac Training
- At least 4 to 7 years of experience is required.
