Junior Research Fellow
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow for the SERB funded research project titled “Investigating the pathomechanisms underlying the RNA exosome component EXOSC1 associated neurodegenerative disorder” at the Department of Medical Genetics, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal.
Position and details:
Positions: Junior Research Fellow (One Position)
Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Basic science or Professional course i.e MSc. or MTech. (with minimum 60% marks or equivalent) in any branch of Life sciences – Biological sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics. Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET-JRF or lecturership (LS), GATE, ICMR-JRF, DBT-JRF will be preferred. Prior experience in Drosophila and or mammalian cell culture is desirable.
Remuneration in INR/month: Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA
Duration of the Project: Initially for a period of one year and extendable by another year based on the performance and need of the project.
