Walk-in-Interview for Research Fellow Position
Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from the Indian Nationals to join the following position sanctioned under ICMR-funded project.
Project Title: “Exploring the medicinal value of plant secondary metabolites through in-silico tools”
Duration of the Project: Two months
Project Investigator: Dr. A. Dixit
Name of position: Research Fellow (01 position)
Fellowship: Rs. 40,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Eligibility: Candidates having M.Sc./M.Pharm. or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects such as Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Microbiology/ Pharmacy, etc. with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC) are eligible to apply. Candidates should have qualified NET-JRF/NET-LS/GATE/ICAR-NET/GPAT or equivalent national test.
Age Limit: The candidate should be below 28 years of age, as of 26.07.2024. Age relaxation will be given to the candidates as per Govt. of India rules.

The interested/eligible candidates may download application form from our website www.ils.res.in and attend the interview with the complete application form along with attested copies of mark sheets and certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if any), along with the experience certificate. Incomplete applications and applications without the above-mentioned documents will be rejected. The appointment will be for one year or until the end of the project.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
