Interview for DBT-Funded Project JRF Position (1 No.)
Title of Project: “Nanogel-mediated Gene Editing (CRISPR/Cas9) Technologies to
Improve Crop Protection against Bacterial Leaf Blight in Rice BT/PR38368/GET/119/327/2020”.
Duration of the Project: 1 year
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in life sciences with NET/DBT-JRF/INSPIRE/GATE
or equivalent exam cleared. Minimum 60% marks in Masters or equivalent degree.
Practical knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques such as DNA, RNA,
protein purification, routine PCRs and cloning is required.
Desirable Qualifications: Prior on-hand experience with cloning, protein
expression, and purification from bacterial systems.

No. of Positions: 1 (one)
Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month
