Life Science Project Scientist Job at Yenepoya Research Centre | Rs. 56,000 pm Pay pm
Applications are invited for the position of Project Scientist-I for a DBT project.
Project title: “Skill Development in Mass Spectrometry-based Metabolomics Technologies-BIC at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) ”
Number of positions: One (Project Scientist-I)
Duration of Project: The initial offer will be for one year and renewable to five years, subject to satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Compensation: Rs. 56,000/-pm + 16% HRA with a 5% increment for every two years.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in any branch of life science with a good academic record supported by publications in Scopus/Web of Science index journals. Candidates with experience in research, especially in proteomics and metabolomics, handling of mass spectrometers, bioinformatics, and prior knowledge of sample preparation for mass spectrometry are added advantages. Candidates with excellent written and spoken English communication skills are desirable. The selected candidate will work in an interdisciplinary field.
