The 13C BRIC-RCB Ph.D.
Programme in Biosciences
Who Can Apply: Biological sciences:
- Bachelors (B.E./ B.Tech./ M.B.B.S./ 4 Year BS)
- Masters (M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.VSc./ M.Pharm./ Integrated M.Sc./ M.Tech.) Non-biological sciences
- Bachelors (B.Tech./B.E.)
Fellowships: 5 year fellowship for pursuing Ph.D. tenable at any iBRICS /ICGEB/ RCB.
Track I: National Fellowships (70 students)
- DBT-BET, CSIR-UGC-NET, ICMR-JRF, PMRF or similar
Track II: G. N. Ramachandran Fellowship (10 students)
- Engineering (B.Tech./ B.E.) and medicine graduates (M.B.B.S.)
Emoluments under Track II:
- JRF: INR 43,000 pm + HRA (years 1-2)
- SRF: INR 50,000 pm + HRA (years 3-5)
- Contingency: INR 1,00,000 Per Annum
