Position Name: Senior Executive – Quality
Level: L6B – Sr. Executive
Qualification
- Post Graduate caliber or equivalent – preferably in Chemistry/Microbiology/ Biochemistry/Bio-technology/Food technology/DIFAT
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Systems in Food Processing/FMCG Distillery, Brewery, and Beverage Industry
Knowledge & Skill
- Hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of quality management systems, developing quality-related SOPs, and its control
- Experience in handling quality improvement projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office package
- Excellent coaching, influencing, and communication skills
Areas of Responsibilities
Quality Operations
- Analyze raw materials, Intermediate (Blends), EOL Finished Goods, and report findings to the unit head
- Inspect packaging materials received at Units, Market, and report to the unit head
- Communicate non-conformities to vendors and issue CAR (Corrective and Preventive Action) to vendor
- Ensure online QC (Quality Control) such as line startup/changeover from water treatment to final packing
- Coordinate with other departments for all rejection failures at the unit
- Calibrate all lab equipment, determine calibration plan, and manage operations as per supplier manual
- Responsible for the maintenance of equipment as per supplier recommendations
- Analyze samples received for customer/consumer complaints and provide a report on findings to the unit head
- Provide expertise in standardization of chemical reagents and calibration required for the lab
- Analyze non-conformities using tools and arrive at CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) desirable
- Assist quality manager with all quality jobs and MIS (Management Information System) report preparation and submission to unit head
