Advertisement for the recruitment of a JRF in Government of India, Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Biotechnology( DBT) sponsored research project (File No. BT/PR40383/BCE/8/1561/2020 ; SAN No. 102/IFD/SAN/995/2023-24; dated 6th September, 2023), in the Department of Biotechnology, University of North Bengal, Raja Rammohunpur, Siliguri- 734013, Dist: Darjeeling, West Bengal.
Application are invited from the eligible candidates for the purely temporary position of a Junior Research Fellow to work in Department of Biotechnology( DBT) sponsored research project (File No. BT/PR40383/BCE/8/1561/2020 ; SAN No. 102/IFD/SAN/995/2023-24; dated 6th September, 2023) entitled” Search for antibiotic-consuming bacteria for reduction of persistent antibiotic residues in the environment with a target to design and establish on-site beta-lactam bioremediation strategy”

Qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech. in any branch of Life Sciences with a good academic record. Candidates should be qualified in GATE/NET/DBT-BET.
Tenure: Three years (initial two years as JRF, and the third year as SRF on fulfilling the criteria)
Remuneration: Year 1: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA; Year 2: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA; Year
3: Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA (HRA as admissible)Application Procedure:
