Senior Research Associate – Assay Biology

Job Purpose:
A highly self-motivated individual having experience in in-vitro Bio-assays required for SARC (Syngene Amgen Research center) collaboration. In this position, candidate will support compound screening in standard in-vitro cell based and Biochemical assays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute in-vitro High throughput cell based and Biochemical assays like cell viability assays, Alphascreen assays and TR-FRET assays.
- Perform molecular biology techniques like RT-PCR highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience in liquid handling platforms would be an added advantage.
- Analytical problem solving and trouble shooting skills required.
- Good data management.
- Contributing to development of procedures, practices and systems that ensures safe operations and compliance to company’s integrity & quality standards.
- Driving a corporate culture that promotes environment, health, and safety (EHS) mindset and operational discipline at the workplace at all times.

Educational Qualification:
M.Sc (Biotechnology/Biological Sciences) from reputed University.
Work Experience:
2-3 years of experience in industry or from a reputed Research institute.
Technical/Functional Skills:
- Experience in handling various cell lines, basic knowledge in handling critical proteins/Enzymes, Experience in using multimode readers would be an added advantage.
- Data analysis using Graph pad prism.
- Well versed with MS Office applications.
Behavioral/Managerial Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem solving and handling skills

- Ability to learn and implement new assays in cell based and biochemical assays
