Sun Pharma Executive Job For Life Sciences – Apply Online
Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd is currently seeking an Executive with a background in life sciences. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience in developing and conducting in vitro cell-free and cell-based assays, as well as experience in molecular biology techniques, such as PCR and cloning. The role will involve working with multiple cancer and non-oncogenic cell lines, and familiarity with cellular signaling pathways from an oncology background is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, optimizing, and running in vitro compound screening assays
- Undertaking molecular biology experiments, such as cloning and RT-PCR
- Culturing, maintaining, and archiving mammalian cell lines
- Documentation, including writing experimental records and maintaining SOPs
- Inventory management and procurement of reagents
- Maintenance of laboratory instruments, facilities, and processes
- Routine lab maintenance activities
Educational Qualification:
M.Sc in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Life Sciences
Work Experience:
2-3 years post M.Sc (3-4 years preferred)
Required Skills / Competencies:
Technical Skills/Competencies:
- Assay platforms (cell viability, apoptosis, cell cycle analysis, oncology hallmarks, enzyme activity, etc.)
- Multimode plate readers (Absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, etc.)
- Liquid handling (96-384 well capacity; manual and/or automated)
- Flow Cytometry (preferably multi-color)
- Microscopy (Epifluorescence/Confocal Microscopy)
- High-density cell cultures and stable cell line development
- Spheroid formation
- CRISPR-Cas9 technology
- Molecular Biology techniques (Cloning, Real Time PCR, DNA/RNA extraction)
- Protein Purification

- Good oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in scientific writing
