Interview for Project-JRF/Project Associate-I position

Job Title: Project-JRF/Project Associate-I

Project Title: Dietary Alpha-Ketoglutarate as a potential therapeutic against acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and pulmonary fibrosis in Covid-19 infection Mission COVID Suraksha under BIRAC, Govt. of India

Duration: Initially for 1 year, extendable till duration of the project

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Life Sciences or related natural science disciplines from recognized Universities or equivalent, with at least 60% marks

Essential Requirement: Candidates are willing to work on COVID-19 virus at BSL3 facility after related training

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Experience of working with 1) any BSL2 level virus
2. Well-trained in mice handling and performing experiments such as injecting drugs, collecting blood sample and organs after sacrificing the mice, etc.
3. Techniques such as flow cytometry microscopy, western blot and PCR analysis. A certificate of related experience (from concerned principal investigator) should be uploaded.

National Level JRF eligibility test: NET, GATE, etc. qualified

Emoluments: Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 31,000/- + 24% HRA per month
