Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Project Research Scientist-1 on a contract basis for the ICMR funded project entitled ‘Exploring the role of early life metabolomic signatures in relation to cognition and neurodevelopment’ under Dr. K. Gokulakrishnan, Associate Professor & Principal Investigator, Department of Neurochemistry, NIMHANS, Bengaluru.

Essential Qualifications: First class Post Graduate Degree in M.Sc. Biotechnology / M.Sc. Biochemistry / M.Sc. Medical Biochemistry/ M.Sc. Neurochemistry, including the integrated PG Degree in these disciplines
Desirable Experience: Experience in processing of blood samples, metabolomics/handling mass spectrometry, and analysis of clinical data along with basic bioinformatics analysis
Maximum age limit: 35 years
Emoluments: Rs.56,000/- PM + HRA 27% @15,120 = Rs.71,120/-
Duration of the project: 3 years. Initial appointment will be made for a period of 1 year, which will be extended depending upon the performance of the candidate.
