Job Description
- Develop external sampling plans ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct routine analyses of raw materials and finished products to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine analysis of water, air, and swabs as part of the Environment Monitoring Microbiology Program.
- Manage lab inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels for testing materials and reagents.
- Conduct shelf life analyses and analyze samples related to New Product Development (NPD).
- Participate in the validation and verification of Critical Control Points (CCP) and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRP).
- Collaborate with the Food Safety Management System (FSMS) team to ensure adherence to food safety standards and protocols.
- Develop internal sampling plans for microbiology, addressing potential risks and ensuring the integrity of the testing process.
- Lead the validation and risk assessment process for new SKU introductions.
- Provide support for the chemical analysis program, including method development and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Microbiology.
- Proven experience in quality control and laboratory operations.
- Knowledge of microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and food safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills for lab inventory management.
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to the FSMS initiatives.
