
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/PA-1 on contract basis to work in a time bound DBT sponsored research project ((BT/PR41974/MED/97/549/2021)) sanctioned to the undersigned at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, Central University of Tamil Nadu
Position Details:
Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)/PA-1 – 1 post
Project Title: Development of an aptamer nanozyme based colorimetric assay for paediatric Scrub typhus
Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (for NET/GATE/ICMR-JRF/DBT-JRF/CUCET qualified) + 8% HRA
Tenure of Position: 1 year, extendable annually till the completion of the project period, subject to satisfactory performance
Essential Qualification: MSc in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Molecular biology/ Biotechnology and other relevant disciplines with a minimum of 55% with NET/ICMR-JRF/DBT-JRF and other national level exams OR PA-1 (exempted from qualifying National level examination).
Desirable: Experience in construction of plasmids, protein expression, aptamer synthesis, Lateral flow, Point of care assay development and any other relevant molecular biology work experience
Age Limit: As specified by the DST and DBT and as per rules of Govt. of India
