Applications are invited for a post of Project Assistant in a DST-funded Project entitled: “Small Molecule Drug Discovery for Rare Genetic Disorder Therapy” (Reference Number: DST/TDT/TC/RARE/2022/21 (G)/1 ) at School of Biotechnology, JNU. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance on yearly basis till the completion of project.
Position: Project Assistant (1)
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree (with minimum 55% marks) in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology/Life Sciences/Biosciences or any other related field.
- Relevant experience is required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of working in a molecular biology laboratory with mammalian cells.
- Basic computational skills.
- Preference may be given to NET qualified candidates.
Salary: Rs. 25000/- per month
