The positions are available at IBSD’s main campus in Imphal, as well as its centers in Shillong, Gangtok, and Aizawl.

Post I
Name of the Post: Project Scientist-III
Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry or Pharmacy from a recognized University or equivalent. Seven years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services. Desirable: Experience in
natural product research.Upper Age Limit: 45 years
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 78,000/- + HRA
Post II
Name of the Post: Project Scientist-II
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or Pharmacy from a recognized university with three years of experience in research and development in industrial and academic institutions or science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services.
Desirable: Experience in natural product research.
Upper Age Limit: 40 years
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA
Post III
Name of the Post: Project Scientist-I
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences or Chemistry or Pharmacy from a recognized university.
Desirable: Experience in natural product research.
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA
Note: The number of positions may vary based on candidate availability. Reservation will be as per the Government of India norms. Selected candidates will be assigned to any center/node of IBSD.
