Medical Device Microbiologist

Responsibilities:
- Writing reports documenting test results for in-production devices and controlled environment monitoring
- Interacting with 3rd party labs to communicate test requirements, obtain quotes, generate purchase requests, and submit invoices
- Coordinating with labs for sampling/testing and other GLP requirements to support new projects
- Assisting with maintaining in-house lab testing consumables by coordinating with the lab techs and obtaining quotes, generating purchase requests, and submitting invoices to replenish
- Writing summary reports for validation/revalidation efforts for laboratory in-house testing/equipment validation
- Routing reports for review and approval
- Archiving approved reports in the appropriate electronic locations
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology or equivalent
- Little to no experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team
- Accurate and methodical approach to work
- Attention to detail
