Job Description
The Senior Executive – Blending position requires a Science Post Graduate or equivalent qualification, preferably in Chemistry/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Food technology/DIFAT. Lead auditor experience will be preferred. The candidate should have 4-7 years of experience in Blending & spirits selection, along with Quality Assurance and Quality Systems in the Distillery, Brewery, and Beverage Industry.
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on Experience of Blending in an IMFL Industry
- Basic knowledge about state Excise Related to Blending operation of any IMFL Industry
- Experience in sourcing of ENA (Extra Neutral Alcohol)
- Good sensory evaluation of spirits, blends & water
- Experience in working in WTP (Water Treatment Plant) and entire operation
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000) and experience in developing quality-related SOPs
- Experience in WTP operations and water balancing
- Knowledge of working in SAP and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
- Blending Operations: Procurement of spirits, Blend Preparation, Selection of spirits & HBS, Lab equipment calibration, Self-audits, Liquid quality compliance
- Adherence to quality standards
