JRF Position at Indian Institute of Technology Indore
Indian Institute of Technology Indore, located in Simrol, Indore, is a premier engineering institute known for its excellence in academics and research. We are currently inviting applications for the position of ‘Project Fellow’ in a DST funded Research Project titled “Splicing, chromatin and somatic hypermutation of immunoglobulin genes”.
Objectives of the Project
The main aim of the project is to identify the molecular mechanisms of somatic hypermutation, particularly its relationship with the process of splicing and various chromatin remodelers. The research will involve cell culture and animal studies.
Eligibility
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. / M.Tech. Degree (with valid GATE) or equivalent in streams like Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences
- B.V.Sc. (with valid ICAR AIEEA-PG)
- B.Pharma (with valid GPAT)
- MBBS (with valid NEET PG)
- Any other science and engineering stream
Desirable: Candidates with experience in Molecular Biology and familiarity with cell culture techniques are encouraged to apply. CSIR / UGC / DBT-JRF fellowship holders will be given preference.
Monthly Stipend: As per norms (approximately Rs. 31,000 + 18% HRA, if hostel accommodation is not provided).
Duration: The initial appointment will be for
