Recruitment for the Post of Junior Research Fellow on External Funded Project

Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DBT-sanctioned Project

Title of Project: Test-tube Model Rapid and Accelerated Biodegradation (RAB) of Bioplastic

Funding Agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT), India

Minimum Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Material Science or Nanoscience

Desirable Qualifications:

The JRF should have expertise in research related to polymer chemistry or material science, or working with enzymes/proteins. Experience using spectroscopic methods such as FTIR, XPS, XRD, DLS, and thermogravimetry methods, including surface characterization techniques such as SEM, TEM, AFM, etc. Minimum one year of experience in related research areas is desired.

Fellowship Amount: 31000 + HRA as per the GOI rules

Tenure of the Post: 6 months

Age: 30 years. Age relaxation as per GOI rules for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC
