We are pleased to announce a job opportunity at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal. We invite applications from Indian nationals for the position of “Junior Research Fellow” under a research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. Interested candidates with a Master’s degree in any branch of life sciences, along with the required qualifications, are encouraged to apply.
Title of the Research Project: Molecular and metabolic approaches to enhance protection against high-intensity light in plants
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (01 No.)
Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree in any branch of life sciences with CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE qualification. Experience working with Arabidopsis and yeast is necessary. The work will involve molecular biology, Arabidopsis genetics, and biochemistry, especially protein interaction studies.
Salary: Rs. 37000.00 + HRA as applicable
Duration: 1 year (subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of the research project)
