Advertisement for the Post of Project Associate-I
Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate-I to actively work on the project entitled “Aptamer-nanoparticles conjugate: a next generation theranostic agent for phytopathogenic fungi” funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The post is purely temporary and co-terminates with the project. Below are the details of qualifications, emolument, and duration of the project:
Department: Medical Biotechnology
Project: “Aptamer-nanoparticles conjugate: a next generation theranostic agent for phytopathogenic fungi”
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Tarun Kumar Sharma
Name of the Post: Project Associate-I
Qualification and Experience: MSc in any branch of biological sciences from any reputed university
Age Limit: 35 years on the closing date of the advertisement
Project Duration: Till the end of the project: 2.0 years (subject to satisfactory performance)
Desirable Qualification/Experience:
Working Exerience in the field of:
- Molecular Biology, routine laobraatry techniques like ELISA, PCR, Western Blotting, UV-vis & fluorescence spectrophotometry, microbial culture, affinity chromatography etc.
- Should have experience with microsoft excel, Graphpad Prism or Origin and other basic computer applications.
- Should have good writing and presentation skills. and
- Project report preparation and Laboratory management skills
Monthly Emoluments:
- INR 31000+HRA for candidates selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE)
- INR 25,000+HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above
