Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and non-routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished cosmetic products.
- Develop and optimize microbiological testing methods for cosmetic products.
- Validate microbial test methods in accordance with industry regulations and guidelines.
- Implement and manage environmental monitoring programs in manufacturing and laboratory areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with microbial control standards.
- Collaborate with formulation teams to recommend and assess preservatives and antimicrobial agents for cosmetic formulations.
- Provide expertise in the development of cosmetic formulations to ensure microbial stability.
- Work closely with quality control teams to establish and maintain microbiological quality standards for cosmetic products.
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and validation of microbiological testing equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for regulatory submissions and support regulatory compliance activities.
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing microbiological findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
