The Department of Biochemistry at PGIMER, Chandigarh, in collaboration with the National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, Kalyani, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the research project titled “Elucidating the role of systemic immune responses in Metastasis using Single Cell RNA Sequencing: Relation with Circulating Tumour Cell Biology and Clinical Implications”. This project is funded by DST-SERB, New Delhi. The duration of the project is initially for one year, with a possibility of extension for three years.
Essential Qualification:
Post Graduate degree in Basic Science OR – Graduate/Post Graduate degree in Professional course. Candidates must be selected through one of the following processes:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility tests- CSIR/UGC NET/GATE including lectureship
b. The selection process through National level examination as DST, DBT, ICMR etc.
Age: As per DST-SERB rules (Relaxation will be given to women/SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per rules)
Salary/Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA @16%
