Molecular Ecology Lab, Research Technician
We are a renowned research laboratory specializing in molecular ecology and conservation. Our team is dedicated to studying genetic diversity and populations of endangered species, and finding innovative solutions for their conservation and preservation. We are currently looking for a Research Technician with exceptional technical and organizational skills to join our dynamic and passionate group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working with non-invasive samples and next-generation sequencing
- Providing support for consumable ordering
- Offering general technical support to lab members
- Conducting conservation genetics research
- Data generation from endangered species
- Working with historical material
- Performing bioinformatics and population genomic analyses
Qualifications:
- Masters in any branch of biology
- Hands-on experience working with molecular biology and NGS
Salary:
The salary for this position will be as per government norms and commensurate with experience.
