Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Project Title: SERB Project – ‘Determine whether IRGM is a novel therapeutic target for inducing broad-spectrum antiviral immunity’
ILS is seeking a Junior Research Fellow to work on the aforementioned SERB project under the guidance of Dr. Santosh Chauhan. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting research work related to the project objectives.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates should have an M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or allied subjects such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Microbiology.
- A minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC/ST/SC) is required.
- Candidates should have qualified NET-JRF/NET-LS/GATE.
- Working experience in handling mice and/or molecular biology work is preferred.
- Candidates should be below 28 years of age as on 02.11.2023. Age relaxation will be provided as per Govt. of India rules.
Fellowship and Benefits:
The selected candidate will receive a fellowship of Rs. 31,000/- per month along with a House Rent Allowance (HRA) at 16%.

Applicants must attend the walk-in interview on the specified date and time along with the complete application form, attested copies of mark sheets and certificates, proof of age, caste certificate (if applicable), and experience certificate. Incomplete applications or applications without the required documents will be rejected. The appointment will be for a duration of one year. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
