Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of “Project Assistant” to work in the research project under the supervision of the Project Investigator Dr. Subhra Prakash Hui, S. N. Pradhan Centre for Neurosciences, University of Calcutta and Co-Project Investigator Dr. Mainak Sengupta, Dept. of Genetics, University of Calcutta entitled “Decoding the acute proregenerative responses after traumatic brain injury (TBI) for its future implications in regenerative medicine.” sanctioned by DRDO, Govt. of India.
Essential Qualification:
- The candidate should have a good academic career possessing an M.Sc. Degree with a minimum of 55% marks in any branch of Biological/Life Sciences from a recognized University.
- The candidate should have a strong interest to work in the field of Neuroscience, Regeneration Biology & Genetics, and relevant soft skills for Molecular Biology & Genetic data analysis.
Upper age limit: 28 years as on 07/10/2023 (relaxable up to 5 years for Women and SC/ST candidates).
Fellowship: As per the DRDO Project Sanction, Govt. of India. [Approx Rs. 22,000/- per month]
Duration of fellowship: One year, extendable up to three years.
